Amaranth Leaves

Biodegradable leaf litter plays an essential role in the sustainability of bioactive terrariums. Providing necessary nutrition to the soil as it breaks down over time, while also acting as food and shelter for isopods and springtails.

Amaranth leaves measure roughly 2-4″ in length with natural variation in color.

Aquarium Use:

Amaranth leaves are an excellent source of nutritious food for shrimp. Similar to Mulberry leaves, Amaranth is high in vitamins and minerals such as calcium which helps maintain shrimp exoskeletons and aids in the molting process.
