Pear Pods

Add a natural twist to your Bioscape™ with Pear Pods!

Pear Pods have a unique pear shape and light brown speckled outer shell and make an excellent addition when creating an interesting aqua scape. The small divots within the pod provide a safe hiding space and habitat for small shrimp and fish.

Aquarium Preparation:

When used in an Aquarium we recommend soaking the Pear Pods for at least an hour to remove any tannins that may be present in the pods. To ensure the water quality will not be affected in your aquarium, place the soaked pods in a separate bin of water for a day before adding it to your aquarium. This process will also encourage the pods to sink.
