Alder Cones
NewCal Alder cones are the all-natural “water conditioning” botanical. Providing properties that lower PH levels in aquariums acting as a natural fungicide and bactericide, while also stimulating breeding of many fish. Each 1oz package comes with approx. 50 cones.
These are an excellent choice for increasing the overall health of your aquarium!
Preparation and Use:
We recommend adding alder cones slowly to your aquarium to avoid unwanted effects. These cones will change the tint of your water, adding less over a longer period will allow you to better gauge your intended effect. Adding the cones to boiling water prior to introducing them into your aquarium will remove any excess natural debris.
